What are IP cameras?
IP cameras (Internet Protocol cameras) are digital cameras that use an internet connection such as (Cat5/6 wire) or wireless internet connection to send images to a computer or smartphone. They use a network protocol to send the images over the internet, allowing users to see the footage streamed from the camera. IP cameras typically offer higher resolution and lower latency than traditional analog cameras. Some IP cameras come with additional features, such as motion detection and night vision.
